EDIT: So even though Google has backpedaled on the adult content issue, I'm still copying all of my caps over to tumblr as an insurance policy.

So guess who just checked his email?

I've been stopping by this place about once a week since I posted my final caption, mostly just to see how my pageviews have changed without new content (I'm actually kind of amazed at how well this site is/was doing).

I meant for this site to serve as an archive for my work, but it seems google has other plans. Now, before I get into this, I want to make it clear that I am NOT returning to captioning at the moment. I'm happy with the choices I made, and I think I left this blog at the right time. But I refuse to let my work get hidden behind a "invite only" wall. So I've got a new project to finish before the 23rd.

I'm going to upload all of my old captions over the next few weeks, and while I doubt I'll be making any new content, I may reblog other artists work/other cool shit from time to time.

I'm beyond disappointed with google's decision to basically wipe out communities that have been built over years in a month, but so be it.

I'm still exceptionally proud of the work I did here, and I am not willing to just sit by as all of it is erased right in front of me.

A New Transformation - My Last Caption

400 captions, 415 followers, 5.4 million page views, and 4 years of work have brought me here. And the only thing I really want to say is "Thank You."

993 Days

The Kylie captions I should have been posting all along.
