A New Transformation - My Last Caption

400 captions, 415 followers, 5.4 million page views, and 4 years of work have brought me here. And the only thing I really want to say is "Thank You."

Before I get into all this, a couple quick things. First, I am not closing this blog. I'm planning on leaving it open and stopping in from time to time to keep and eye on things, so if anyone is just discovering this site, feel free to leave a comment as I'll probably see it. Second, to everyone who asked if they can post one of captions elsewhere, go for it. All I ask is that you don't alter the images and put my name down as the author if you can. With 40 new captions, this month has been my most productive ever (July 2011 also had 40 updates but one of them was text based and I had made a lot of those captions months before back when I was at tf-media), and I hit my goal of getting more than 200,000 page views in a month (something I came close to back in July 2011 but have never gotten close to since) by getting over twice that number with 405,000 views (and the day isn't over yet). I have had more success this month than I ever dreamed of, and I have to say that seems rather fitting for the time I've spent in this amazing community.

There's too many people who have been amazing to properly thank them all, so I apologize for leaving anyone out. Thank you Candy (back when I knew you as one eyed pirate) for striking up a conversation with me back on tf-media and really bringing me into the community of talking and working with other creators. Thank you Smitty for giving my blog that first plug on yours and for your insane level of dedication to your caps that always made me strive to do more, I hope you're doing well with whatever you're up to. Thank you Simone for constantly being an inspiration both in terms of always making a sexy looking caption, and writing some of the hottest stories I have ever had the pleasure to read. Thank you to Calvin/Caitlyn for giving me the motivation to work on my layouts and designs and to try more non-traditional style stories, you are a huge reason as to why I kept doing this long after my initial interest in tg faded, I wish you the best of luck out there in the real world. Thank you to Dee, and Elle, and Loki, and all the other people who regularly took the time to comment, it's amazing how a few simple words of encouragement and kindness can change the way I felt about a caption. But most of all, thank you to everyone who ever took the time to read one of my caps. I still can't believe that there are so many people who have read and enjoyed something I wrote, and that's a feeling I will carry with me long after I'm gone from here.

My time spent here is something I will never forget. Thank you for coming along with me on this amazing ride, and for being a part of this fantastic community.
