Game Over

I'm still getting back into the captioning groove, but things are looking better all the time.

A while ago I received a formspring request for more surgery captions. And while I did a quick one back then, I still felt the need to do a longer one to truly fulfill the request. I've been wanting to write this caption for a long time, but for some reason I kept passing it over. Well I finally sat down today and decided this had sat in my "to caption" folder long enough. I have to say I really like how this turned it. I think it might have worked better as two panels, but I didn't have another image so unfortunately I had to go with a slightly smaller font size than I typically like. But other than that I have no complaints with this one.

It's still difficult for me to find the time to caption, and even when I do I've noticed it's more difficult to get started than it used to be. But luckily once I got the first couple lines out the rest of the story flowed pretty easily, so things are definitely moving in the right direction.

  2. Ooh, wonderful, Rauk! Those are the naughtiest tummy-knots of all; The ones that form out of our perverse sense of knowing we ought not to love the things we do, while eagerly anticipating their arrival! Got to admit, in his position, I'd probably be looking forward to being in this position too... often!

A thought on lacking images: Some tales call for more than we have available but, what about 'recycling the image'? This story seems like a 1st page of 'close-ups' as you 'pull the camera back', then the full 'reveal' on page 2 with his admission of loving the prospects his future holds, might work well.
    Just a thought.

    1. I'm glad you liked it. And thanks for the idea about recycling images. It wouldn't have worked for this caption as the image wasn't huge to begin with so it would have pixelated if I zoomed in much farther, but it's definitely something I'll keep in mind for future pieces.

    2. I like it MUCH! And would LOVE to try getting her breasts bouncing together with the rhythm here!

      And, I hear you, Rauk.
I Was thinking more like successively greater selections in three or four steps/frames, rather than scaling-up a single closeup. As a slow reveal, or focused on separate areas of the image. Just another thought in my squishy grey mush-mash of what's left of a brain.

  3. REALLY liked this one... The combo of the wonderfully detailed story, expressing her admission to herself that on some level she really wanted this all along, coupled with an awesome pic choice make this one a "keeper" :)

    Thank you!

  6. I like it. I like the characters in cap's to end up enjoying what has happened to them.
