Hey, I realize that I haven't had an update in over two weeks, so I just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about this blog. The real world has resumed its nasty habit of taking up all my free time, and it doesn't look to be lightening up anytime soon. I'm going to try to rearrange my schedule so I at least get a little time to cap on the weekends, so I hope to be back to producing new content again soon.
And to my fellow cappers: I'm going to try to get around to reading and commenting on your recent works, as I noticed that I've missed quite a bit of cool new stuff.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know I'm not dead (at least not yet anyway), and I hope to be back before too long.
Take all the time you need hon, unfortunately the real world DOES come first, but in the end that just makes the fantasy world even better the next time you get a chance to visit it. I look forward to reading to reading what you put out when the real world releases it's pull on your reins a bit :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I hope what I just posted was worth the wait.
DeleteRauk, I feel your pain... "Real Life" intruded on my captions in a huge way in the past weeks, as you may know... It's a constant struggle for me, ESPECIALLY finding the time to comment on others' work.
ReplyDeleteIt's a terrible catch-22... When I am "in the mood", I making captions myself. When I'm NOT, I'm also usually not really in the "mood" to read and appreciate other people's stuff...
Hell, I STILL haven't finishing "tweaking" my original "Steffi" Blog, and feel guilty about THAT :(
I know that your online time is limited. That makes whatever comments you do have time to make on my blog even more precious. That, coupled with the fact that you're one of the few caption makers whose work I actually ENJOY makes me appreciate them (your comments) all the more...
I look forward to your captions when you have time to make them, WHENEVER that is, and I will work harder on making more comments myself :)
Thanks,
Yeah, commenting is always a bit of a struggle. Whe you're in the mood and have the time you don't want to waste it by not making something, but that often means giving feedback to others takes a backseat. I'm trying to be better about it, but it certainly isn't easy.
DeleteWhy am I picturing a monty python skit? "I feel happy. I feel happy!"
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you dropped by and gave us an update Rauk. Like other's, I'm always excited to see new material but can be patient and give that wicked RL the time it needs!
Looks like you win the gold star for catching the reference in the title. Unfortunately gold stars are only redeemable for kudos, and the exchange rate is terrible, with the state of the internet economy and all, you know how it is...
DeleteGlad to hear you're alive and well! Your fans are still following you, don't worry. Take all the time you need. :P
ReplyDeleteThis song describes how I feel about your absence, though I can understand why you need it. RL can be quite demanding.

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about this place. I really do wish I devote more time to it, but sadly that just can't happen right now.
DeleteThe same has happened to my blog. Just recently I began capping again. It's hard to find time. And then sometimes you find that window but just can't get up the steam to put out any work.
ReplyDeleteTake your time, we will be here. ;)
xoxoxo Katie
Amen to that. I'm still hoping that things will turn around soon though.
