One Little Finger

Nothing quite like having life kick you in the shin just to remind you who's really in charge.

I just can't seem to catch a break right now. I get out of one hectic stretch only to walk into another. So here's a quickie to hopefully hold you over until I can get back on track with some of the larger/more involved pieces I have planned for the future. I would say expect to start seeing some of those soon, but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up (mostly mine) and then disappoint when I fail to meet the deadlines I laid out. So for now, just know that there is some cool stuff coming your way at some point in the near future, and I'll try to turn out some quickies for all of you wonderful readers whenever I can find the time.

    1. Thanks, this was one of the nice caps where the image had already written most of the story for me.

  2. Rauk - Please do not worry about trying to rush to get something put together for us. We all should understand full well how life outside of captioning can and does need to take precedence. You should well know by now that we will all be around to catch your new stuff when you have a breather from outside responsibilities to have the free time to give us a new caption. A person who makes captions as good as you make them will always have folks waiting with patience for your new captions. -Monica

    1. Thanks for the support. It's always great to hear that people are willing to wait for your work, as I'm probably more impatient with my rate of production than anyone. It's never a good situation when you're a perfectionist with limited time to work on something, and I'm still trying to find the balance between quality and quantity with my captioning.

  3. Rauk, you are a seriously talented writer and I am always looking forward to your next caption. So don't worry about the wait, its well worth it!

Case in point, this lovely example of how having a slippery slope leaves you vulnerable to a slippery slope.

  4. I understand the stress roller coaster since I've delt with it for months now & it continues, just cap when your able hun.

Being a fan of your stuff, I always look forward to new material & hope things calm for you soon. Try not to stress (easier said then done) since I've grown to realise that with a clear stress free mind, things go much easier.

Very sexy cap & image, loved it!

    1. Yeah, trying not to stress doesn't always seem to work, even when I know it would make things easier. Oh well, I'll get through this (hopefully sooner than later) and then be back to making new captions on a somewhat regular basis again. Or at least that's the plan.
