The Kylie captions I should have been posting all along.

It's been over two years since I did a Kylie caption. And while it's been a long time since she's made an appearance here, it just didn't feel right to finish up my captioning career without bringing her back out to play. So here's a few snap shots of all the adventures I never got around to writing.

  1. Less a 'baby step' and more a 'baby arm'?

I'm horrible. I'll just show myself out now.

  2. I don't think these last two post could have been more different. The first a descent into the wonderfully twisted and dark. The other an incredibly honest and heartfelt goodbye, a series of flashbacks on memories never fully shared. You are either a truly gifted functionalist or there is a lot of truth in the metaphor of this last set. Either way it was beautiful, and now I feel like an emotional sap.

Thank you for all your captions Rauk, escaping into their fantasies has always been a gleam of pure simple pleasure for me in this confusing conflicted thing called life.

  3. I just read through all of the Kylie posts and have to say they are great. I think you did a lovely story.

I think you're a great captionist and I would also like you to know that I think your caps have only gotten better in since I started reading them.

  4. Dear Rauk,
I've been frequently checking up on your captions for about 2 years now and have loved all the stories you've told even though you weren't necessarily around all the time. Reading this last story I had tears running down my face by the end. Such a touching way to end an amazing story.
    Thanks for all your work.

  5. Reminds me of Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin. What happened to Pooh once CR grew up?
